What is Vibration Therapy?

Vibration Therapy uses a scientifically calibrated machine that produces vibrations from the feet up disturbing vibrational energy to the entire body. These vibrations result in rapid and intense muscle fiber contractions 30-50 times per second. It aims to prevent bone loss by transmitting vibrations directly through the body. The vibrations cause your muscles to contract and relax, and they can stimulate the production of osteoblasts, which are cells that produce bone.

Vibration therapy was first used in the Russian Space program to assist Astronauts to increase their muscle strength and enhance their bone density while in space. According to The Mayo Clinic, advocates say that as little as 15 minutes a day of whole-body vibration three times a week may aid weight loss, burn fat, improve flexibility, enhance blood flow, reduce muscle soreness after exercise, build strength and decrease the stress hormone cortisol.

Other benefits of Vibration Therapy (Whole Body Therapy) are reducing back pain, improving balance and strength in older adults, toning and firming muscle, increasing lean muscle mass, improving range of motion and mobility, fighting cellulite, firming and toning the skin, increasing circulation and lymphatic drainage, reducing pain and stiffness, elevating HGH and Serotonin, and rehabilitating muscles after injury or surgery.
